Live Free or Do Whatever it Takes so I don't Die

On the Colbert Report last night, Colbert did a segment (called Job Description) on how Presidential powers are far stronger than intended by our Constitution. He unfortunately didn't include Dr Paul in the discussion, but he did have a great clip of Romney from the debate, with comments before and after. The "new job" is a President with very broad powers, like Bush has taken on.

Colbert: "Now other candidates are clearly applying for the new job, like Romney."

Romney (clip from the debates): "And I hear from time to time people say, hey wait a second, we have civil liberties we have to worry about. But don't forget, the most important civil liberty I expect from my gov is my right to be kept alive."

Colbert: "That speech will play great in NH, what with their state motto, live free or do whatever it takes so I don't die."

No thanks, I prefer our actual motto, Live Free or Die.
