Get 'em.

I'll skip the editorializing this time and go straight to the facts: Ron Paul is being excluded from a debate in Iowa. Hosted by the Iowans for Tax Relief and the Iowa Christian Alliance, the forum will include Mitt Romney, Sam Brownback, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, and Tom Tancredo--but not Dr. Paul.

You know what to do.

Don't forget -- your calls and e-mails from today up until the debate are of vast importance, so make two post-its with all the pertinent information.

But more important than your calls before the debate could be your calls after the debate -- if Dr. Paul is not finally invited. These "leadership" organizations will need at least a 90 day reminder of their error, should they refuse to let this truly honorable Stateman and friend of liberty debate.

I just sent them my letter, but before doing so, I read this on their web site

"Iowans for Tax Relief lobbies for reduced state government spending and lower taxes for all Iowans. Lower state taxes bring better jobs and population growth. More people mean a broader tax base and enough money for government to provide services."

I find the first and the third sentences to be somewhat contradictory. It seems they are for big government. They just want more people to move to Iowa so they don't have to pay for it all by themselves.

This might explain their bias against Dr. Paul.

Jim Gilmore canceled on them, so they replaced him with.... Duncan Hunter, who couldn't even match Ron Paul in first quarter fundraising, despite starting three months earlier.

Shouldn't we try to get Mitt Romney to make a statement about Dr. Paul's exclusion from the Iowa Forum?

Or demonstrate wherever Romney is?

His travel plans are on his web site.

Noteworthy locations are Prtland, Oregon on 6/22; Fenway Park in Boston on 6/24; St. Petersburg, Flordia, on 6/25; NYC on 6/27; and Hartford on 6/28. What kind of support do you think the Meetups will be able to put together?
